When another wedding photographer asks you to shoot her wedding, it's pretty much the ultimate compliment. Although I was slightly perplexed. She could have asked anyone... why would she burden me with this high pressure situation, and literally make me lose sleep over the thought of potentially screwing it up?
I'm kidding of course... I was honored and thrilled to be there for these guys on the best day of their lives.
Chelsea and Blake are two of the raddest human beings alive. Everyone loves them! And for good reason... they're two ultra kind, adventurous, animal loving surfer artists. AND they have exactly the same hairstyle! Their wedding plans shifted a lot through the course of their engagement, but in the end, it was exactly what every wedding should be: a reflection of their joint personalities which pays homage to their history and relationship. Not to mention, it was a pretty wild party too!
Telling their story was honestly one of the highlights of my journey in wedding photography thus far. I can't thank them enough for entrusting me with the enormous responsibility of immortalizing their wedding day memories.
I don't usually make a big deal out of other contributors on my blog, but everyone involved in this wedding seriously smashed it outta the park with their creativity and style! Huge thank you to: Desiree Dawn Events - Planner, The ALTARnative - Event and Floral Stylist, Curbside Gourmet - Food, Mora Girls Surf Boutique - Dress, Girlfriend Material - Music, Jason Mize - Videography, Carly Marine Art - Watercolor Art, Propel Marketing - Stationary Design, Alexa Nelson Prints - Save the Dates, Kattilac Gems - Brides Jewelry, Chinchar Maloney - Brides Rings
