Lida and Christian’s destination wedding in Miami’s Wynwood Art District was nothing short of epic. So much color, vibrance, good vibes and a splendid mix of cultural traditions… their day was an absolute honor and thrill to photograph. The location held significant meaning to the couple as the Bride’s late father was an incredible painter… and since the couple naturally have a high level of appreciation for art, Wynwood’s ever-changing graffiti walls seemed like the perfect choice for their wedding. Their celebration was a unique and interesting one, which blended German and Lebanese traditions to honor their respective cultures and families. One highlight for me was the log sawing ceremony (Baumstamm Sägen)… This is a German tradition symbolic of the challenges of marriage and how the two must work together to overcome them. Beautiful!
I should also mention the venue, which was amongst the best I’ve ever seen. MAPS Backlot, is like a factory of fun photographic opportunities and provides the perfect Miami party atmosphere! Also, Solea Events had the place styled to perfection and kept the day running silky smooth!
Lida and Christian are two of the nicest, most genuine and deserving couples of such a perfect day! Here’s how it unfolded…
