Veronica and Ricky had a amazing story to tell, which actually started years before they were born. Their respective fathers were college roommates and best friends. They eventually started families of their own and their children, Ricky and Veronica (or Lala as her friends and family affectionately call her), were inevitably close from day one. Joint family vacations, birthday parties, the whole nine.

Eventually when they went off to the same college and their closeness evolved in to something greater. Albeit, hesitantly at first, since Ricky's father actually pulled Ricky aside and cautioned him that if he planned on entering a serious relationship with Lala, then it better be for real! A fair warning considering the decades of friendship and history between the two families. Collectively, they had been through a lot together, and no one wanted to see anyone hurt as a result of a college fling. BUT, Ricky wasn't worried. He knew that their love was real, and was absolutely "meant to be".

To prove it, they tied the knot with a celebration of epic proportions, even by Miami standards! MAPS Backlot in the ever-changing and eternally cool Wynwood Arts District played host to the wild shindig that included a raging dance floor, a food truck feast and even a New Orleans brass band. 

Needless to say it was a memorable way to solidify the already tight bonds between two wonderful families. Here's my take their story. Enjoy!
