rachael + sal, asheville destination wedding

There's so much I want to say about photographing Rachael and Sal's Destination Wedding in Asheville, NC. But even more I want to say about the Bride and Groom themselves. These guys are simply two of the warmest most delightful and thoughtful people I've ever met. They each come from incredible families... The type of family you wish you were a part of, except you don't have to wish, because they make you feel like one of their own. So welcoming, so loving, it's easy to see why this Bride and Groom turned out to be such awesome human beings. They have also endured the hardships of a long distance relationship at times... I can't tell you how much I admire that. I first met the pair whilst photographing Sal's sister, Sonia's wedding last year. For some reason, I knew we would see each other again, and when I did hear from them earlier this year, I was beyond excited and honored that I would get to hit the road and document their story. Here it is...

Oh, wait... The Omni Grove Park Inn. What and incredible venue... I'd love to photograph there again, you'll see why!
