A few weeks ago, I travelled to Darwin to photograph a wedding. While I was there I caught up with another awesome couple (Tamika and Kym). I always recommend couples do an engagement shoot before the wedding... Not for the cheesy self promotion of ones love story, but for the simple fact that it's a great chance to take a break from the stress of wedding planning and just focus on one another! It's also a great way to become familiar with the camera, which goes a long way towards more natural photographs on the wedding day. Tamika and Kym were such a pleasure to hang out and take photos with around Darwin's East Point Military site... They showed me some cool new places to explore, and stayed relaxed the whole time! I can't wait for their wedding, and i can't wait to get back to Darwin for more engagement and wedding shoots soon!
