KYRA + CLAY // Destination Wedding in Provence, France

With destination weddings back in full swing... I figured it's about time I started sharing some more of my recent adventures in destination wedding photography from around the globe.

This story took place just outside of Avignon in the French countryside of Provence. A place I've come to see as pure paradise for food and wine loving romantics like Kyra and Clay. This couple were so honest and intentional with what they wanted from their wedding experience that it truly felt like you were being let into their world, to see how they see, feel how they feel, and quite literally taste the things that they care about.

Kyra and Clay have become good friends of mine throughout the 3-4 weddings we've attended together. It's a common byproduct that emerges from the shared experience of being surrounded by the swirling emotion, positive energy and good vibes of weddings. But beyond our annual celebratory catch ups, Kyra and Clay and proven to be among the kindest people I've ever met... not to mention they're just supremely impressive humans - a true power couple!

Anyway in this instance, what began with a cooking class in an ancient marketplace, ended in a hot tub surrounded by empty wine bottles.
